The Lever Air Walk is a low-impact, cyclic cardio movement performed on a lever-driven glider with suspended foot platforms and moving handles. Your feet stay in contact with the platforms while the legs swing reciprocally in the sagittal plane, mimicking a smooth walk/run pattern without ground impact. Primary drivers are the hips: gluteus maximus and hamstrings extend the rear leg while hip flexors (iliopsoas and rectus femoris) advance the front leg; the trunk musculature stabilizes the pelvis and spine. The moving handles add an upper-body push–pull that involves the latissimus dorsi and posterior deltoid during the pull, and the pectoralis major and anterior deltoid during the push, with the elbow flexors/extensors assisting. Maintain an upright posture with neutral spine and a quiet, level pelvis to keep forces distributed and movement efficient. How To Do The Lever Air Walk Exercise

‘- Step onto the platforms; take a light, neutral grip on the handles. Stand tall with eyes forward.
– Set feet parallel under hips; keep full-foot contact and soft, unlocked knees.
– Brace lightly; stack ribs over pelvis; depress and set the shoulder blades; keep head neutral.
– Initiate by driving one pedal back via hip extension as the opposite leg swings forward via hip flexion.
– Coordinate arms contralaterally: pull the handle on the side of the rear leg while the opposite hand pushes forward; keep wrists neutral and elbows near the torso.
– Glide in a smooth arc; choose a stride that keeps the pelvis level and avoids crossing midline.
– Maintain even pressure through midfoot/heel; avoid rising onto the toes or collapsing arches.
