How To Do The Elevated Split Squat Exercise

‘- Stand a lunge-length in front of a bench/step; place the top of your rear foot (laces down) or toes on the edge.
– Square your hips forward; set ribs down and brace to a neutral spine.
– Position the front foot so the tripod (heel, base of big toe, base of little toe) is firmly planted.
– Slightly hinge forward at the hips to center your torso over the front thigh.
– Lower under control by bending the front hip and knee; let the rear knee travel mostly downward.
– Keep the front knee tracking over the middle toes; avoid it caving inward or drifting excessively forward.
